I installed it today, its fantastic! Stil need to test the CAD-plugin, but the new functions in WoodWOP itself are impressive! Cant wait to work with the new functions on a machine. Good job Homag! you guys are heading in the good direction! The new Component menu is already comming to use! New interesting function i found so far apart from those explained in the folder: Settings: - Start with template verry interesting for people who have a BHX 500 machine, they can use a standard WoodWop program with the clamp positioning component to open every time they start WoodWOP. Or for people that always use measure position on workpiece with there machine, Then they dont need to ad the measuring function every time.

And what do you need this ramping? In the settings you can adjust the speed machining cutter entering the material (red mark on the picture). Besides, you can always fast processing in several passes (green mark on the picture). Although the picture shows the settings of woodWOP 5.0, but in version 6.0 will also be the setting. Sorry, but the text above was passed through the google translator. http://www.lajosz.neostrada.pl/freepocket.jpg

i have the same problem... however my sales man no longer provides the disks You can deal with it by downloading from the net, "different lawful" version woodWOP. Then, install it, and replace the newly installed files to those of the previous installation. WoodWOP will work fine, but the problem is all the rest, that is connected to the machine, tool base, etc. In closing, I'm sorry that this text may not be understandable, but I use the google translator.

Text below is directly from instruction manual: Self-defined mode: Enter values between 000 and 999. A user-written NC sub-program with the ending .000 to .999 is called up instead of the standard approach program. Approach and return behavior can be modified with the self-defined modes. This means that you need to write a subprogram NC yourself and put it under a particular name in the appropriate place to use it. How to do it I do not know, but I happened to enjoy such podrogramu written by others.

when Trimming a Free-form Pocket , the router enters the workpiece by plunging straight down vertically- which is undesirable for a hard material like oak! :x How do i set it to ramp down, like 'on-the-fly' enterance into the panel?

this is a little different to what i meant- your example has a 'component' in the block-macro. What i want is to be able to put 'vertical trimming' into the block-macro directly. (i.e. not into a component) On a different subject... This is a very interesting part with 3D routering- i didn't realise you could create such cool shapes- could you post your component: 3d_Form_Basic.mpr ?

I was wondering what the specify mode option does in free form pockets. I think that it involves subprograms which I have no idea how to use those. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have this parametric program already for our Weeke via WoodWOP but we are also trying to program the same thing on our Busellato but we can't do the same thing on the Genesis software (go figure right) Anyways ... need some help calculating this out. Check out the attached image. We need to figure out the XY locations for these two tangent arcs from the know values listed. We know the two arc's radii, the width and length and I've already go the appr. intersection point calc'd out. The rest I can't figure out. Any help would be appreciated!

Cheat ... that is what we do. Lie to the tool length to allow the tool to get deeper. There is a set parameter for max Z / _BSZ depth. I believe it is set in the P1 file .. but that is a guess. Check the SYS folder.
